4. How can I ensure that my time card will be processed on time?

  • Sign your time card;
  • Obtain your supervisor’s signature;
  • Record the “IN and OUT” time each day (make sure you include your lunch break);
  • Calculate the total hours for each day;
  • Calculate regular hours worked for the entire pay period. Write it down next to the "TOTAL" box, located at the bottom of the time card; and
  • Keep each assignment on a separate time card.

5. Will I get paid for overtime?
Temp employees qualify for overtime after working 40 regular hours each week. Any additional hours above the 40 hours will be paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate. For example, if you are scheduled to work for 7.5 hours each day, in one week, that will be 37.5 hours. You will need to work an additional 2.5 hours at the regular rate before you qualify for overtime that week.
