HR Managers User Site

  • Staff Profile.  Effective, Wednesday, April 12, 2006, the Employment Office has changed the staff profile to include a condensed employment section and new section for computer skills.
  • Documents Tab.  Departments keep certain documentation associated with the recruitment and selection process as stated in the U202 Recruitment and Selection Policy.  We have added new functionality to the system that allows documents to be uploaded to the requisition.  The documents tab has been added to the requisition to house these documents: Applicant Pool Review, Search Plan, Phone Screen Questions, Interview Questions, Reference Checking Questions, Offer Letter, Other 1, Other 2, Other 3.  You should email these documents to your Employment Services representative when filling the requisition and we will attach, at our discretion, these documents to the requisition.  A benefit of this new functionality is that all search documentation is kept in one location and departments will no longer have to keep paper documentation.
  • Cancel Req.  Applicants can now be notified when a position has been cancelled.  If a department decides that they would like to cancel a position, they will change the status of the requisition to "Cancel Req."  That status will in turn generate an email that will be sent to applicants informing them the position has been cancelled.
  • Cancel Req-Repost.  Applicants can now be notified when a position has been cancelled and reposted.  If a department has redefined the position description and qualifications for a position available within their department, selecting this posting status will prompt an email to be sent to the applicants that the position has been cancelled and if they are still interested in the position to take a look at the newer posting and apply online.
  • Total Active Applicants. On the postings search results screen, when you are viewing the details of your position, the Total Applicants column has been configured to read as Total Active Applicants with the correct number of active applicants that are viewable to you for your open position.
  • Other Functions. The other functions field on the posting details has been changed from being required. Departments will no longer be required to enter information in this field in order to proceed to the next page of the requisition.
