HR Managers User Site

  • Required Fields. Several fields on the posting details page have been changed to being required. They include the Division, Hours per week, If other than regular hours, Essential functions, Other functions, Qualifications, Mental demands, Physical demands, and Position Reports to fields. Before you may proceed to the next page or exit out of the requisition that is selected, you will need to include the necessary information in these fields.
    Note: For the If other than regular hours field, if the hours are during normal working hours, you should mark the field with 'Regular.' Also, for the Other Functions field, if you do not have any duties of the position that may be appropriate for this field, you may mark NA.

  • Required Open (Union) Posting Status. A new status of Required Open (Union) has been added for all clerical L743 positions to be moved to when they are posted to the live site. At this status, HR Administrators will receive two emails. The first email will notify the HR Administrator that their position has posted and the second email will include text language from the L743 contract that HR Administrators need to abide by when setting pay rates for new employees.

  • Additional Sort Features on the Applicants Tab. You are now able to sort in ascending or descending order the Current U of C Employee, Current U of C Layoff and Current L743 Employee categories. This was designed to assist you in your application review process.

Applicant User Site

  • Archive - Managed Jobs. An archive feature has been added to the Applicant Site for job seekers that apply for a number of positions that are available at the University. Positions job seekers have applied to that have not had a status change action within the last seven months will be moved to an archive status and be no longer viewable to the job seeker. This will make it more manageable for job seekers to sort through the positions they have recently applied to. Although the job seekers will no longer see the archived positions, they may contact Employment Services at any time to have these positions restored to their Managed Jobs page.
