(last updated 9/13/04)

HR Managers User Site

  • Feedback Link. On the login screen of the hiring manager site, a link to the employment email address has been added for users of the hiring manager site to provide feedback to the Employment Office on comments and suggestions in the use of the UChicago Jobs website.
  • Declined Offer. This new status has been added for applicants who have accepted a job offer, but at a later date are unable to accept the position.
  • Not Hired Statuses. Four new statuses have been added - Not Hired-Not Interviewed-Send Letter, Not Hired-Not Interviewed-No Letter, Not Hired-Interviewed-Send Letter, Not Hired-Interviewed-No Letter. These new statuses will assist the Employment Office as well as the departments in keeping track of which applicants have been interviewed opposed to those that have not. Also, if selected, the system will now be able to send close out letters to the applicants to let them know the position has been filled.
  • New Hire Paperwork. Departments should send all new hire paperwork directly to the Records Department, 2nd floor of Ingleside Hall, once a position has been filled by the Employment Office.
  • New Employee Orientation. Departments may send new hires to orientation on any Wednesday they choose within the first 30 days of the new hire's employment. An orientation packet may be picked up from UHRM.
  • Applicant User Site

  • Job Category. Applicants are now able to search for positions based on job category (ie. information technology or development). This feature will aid applicants in their search for specific job openings.
